Sunil Kumar
Sunil Kumar brings over 35 years of experience in mechanical process engineering industry across India and the Middle East. Since joining GEA in 1999, he has played a key role in driving operational excellence and strategic growth across the Middle East & Egypt. Starting with a single division in 2010, he has led all five divisions of GEA within the Middle East region since 2015, consistently delivering high performance and robust growth.
From 2015 to 2022, Sunil also served as Executive Director on the Management Board of GRADE Refrigeration, a joint venture between GEA and TIG Group, leading its expansion in industrial refrigeration across the Middle East, Egypt, and Maghreb.
Renowned for his deep industry knowledge and leadership, Sunil excels in managing multicultural teams, building client relationships, and implementing sustainable strategies and excels in change management. His mechanical engineering background is complemented by the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from IESE Business School, Barcelona, enhancing his global strategic outlook.
