Sudhakar Tomar
Sudhakar Tomar , President of India–Middle East Agri Alliance (IMEAA) & Bharat Subcontinent Agri Foundation (BSAF), is an agrifood entrepreneur behind some of the Middle East’s early agri-unicorns. He leads IMEAA/BSAF—multilateral venture-building platforms of 30,000+ partners that promote equitable agricultural trade, start-ups, and investment across South Asia and the Middle East. Their mission is to raise farmers’ incomes and strengthen food and nutrition security.
A champion of climate-smart, regenerative crops and sustainable agrifood ventures, Tomar helped advocate for the UN-declared International Year of Pulses (2016). He advises governments and multilateral bodies including the FAO, GPC, and the UN, is a globally recognised keynote speaker, and frequently serves as a judge for global start-up hackathons.
He was listed in Forbes’ Top 100 Indian Leaders in the Arab World (2016–2020). Honours include the GPC President’s Award (2024), Global Agriculture Award (2019), Business Leader of the Year (2016)—Government of Dubai, and Outstanding Contribution Award (2017)—Government of India.
