Christina Doublichevitche
Christina Abdo Doublichevitche is a seasoned professional in research and innovation with over 20 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and nutrition sectors. Throughout her career, Christina has led product development, formulation, packaging, and claims generation for beverages, ice cream, and various food categories. Her expertise spans across project management, nutrition communication, regulatory affairs, and external engagement with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and regulatory entities.
Currently serving as the Senior Technical Research and Innovation Manager for New Drinking Experiences at Lipton Teas and Infusions, Christina is responsible for creating and delivering innovative drinking experiences for the world's largest tea company. She manages the innovation pipeline and ensures alignment with both global strategies and local business needs.
Previously, Christina held the position of Head of Research and Innovation for the MENA region at Lipton Teas and Infusions, where she successfully led the separation of the AMET-BSPAN R&D from Unilever. Her role involved developing and executing nutrition and health strategies, as well as engaging with nutrition experts and policymakers.
Christina's career also includes significant contributions at Unilever Gulf FZCO, where she managed R&D for Foods and Refreshment for the Gulf, KSA, and the Levant regions. Her leadership in nutrition external engagement and advocacy has had a lasting impact on the sector.
With a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut and a Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Christina is committed to continuous learning, as evidenced by her ongoing pursuit of PMP certification. She is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Lebanese Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Society of Nutrition, and the Emirates Nutrition Group.
Fluent in Arabic, English, and proficient in French, Christina is passionate about sustainability and environmental responsibility in product development. Her motivational leadership and excellent interpersonal skills have made her a respected and influential figure in her field.
