Charles Brand
Charles Brand is Executive Vice President, Processing Solutions & Equipment with the Tetra Pak Group, and a member of the company’s Global Leadership Team.
Charles joined Tetra Pak in 1985 as an Electronics Development Engineer in the Automation
department of the company’s Research & Development (R&D) division. In 1992, he was named Vice President of R&D for Tetra Rex Packaging Systems and two years later, he was appointed Managing Director of the company’s Flexible Packaging Systems business. He subsequently held a number of other senior management positions, including Managing Director of Tetra Pak Taiwan and global Vice President of Marketing & Product Management.
In 2015, he became Executive Vice President, Product Management & Commercial Operations, with overall responsibility for the company’s product portfolio, marketing and sales activities worldwide and for its global environmental strategy. In 2019, he was appointed Cluster Vice President for Europe & Central Asia, responsible for one of the company’s largest regions, and driving a programme uniting all three business areas, integrating our production facilities and leading a sustainability agenda. He was appointed to his current role in November 2021.
Charles has an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Lund and currently lives in Switzerland. He is passionate about sustainability, industrial efficiency through digital technology, customer service excellence, talent development and cycling – and a proud husband and father of three.
