Romaco Kilian is a leading global provider of tablet presses with around 180 employees, founded as a family run business by Fritz Kilian in 1875 in Berlin, Germany. In the late 1940’s the company moved to Cologne, from where it still runs its business. In 2005 KILIAN built a headquarter provides extensive research, training and laboratory facilities. These are used for extensive customer trials, tableting production optimisation and training. Since 2013 KILIAN is part of the ROMACO Group, a leading global supplier of Processing and Packaging equipment. KILIANs’ portfolio covers a wide range of tableting equipment, from small R&D and simulator presses to large robust machines for highly demanding products and challenging operating environments. Worldwide, close to four thousand KILIAN tablet production systems in over 100 countries have been operating for decades. Tablet presses from Romaco Kilian today are primarily used in the Pharmaceutical Industry (standard as well as special tablet production), the Food Industry (sweeteners, dextrose, sugar, fructose, bouillons, food supplements etc.) and Chemical Industry (catalysts, salt tablets, fertilizers, pesticides, naphthalene, colour, battery, detergents, air bags, dishwasher tablets, etc.).
