The Mauting company was founded in 1992 as a company focused on design, projection and manufacture of food processing equipment. Production of smoking chambers and equipment for thermal processing of meat and meat products has been the main production program since the company very beginning. The company founders have had long-time practice in the branch based on their previous experience in a company manufacturing complete meat industry processing equipment including smoking chambers. This company supplied equipment to all meat industry and packaging plants in former Czechoslovakia. In 1998 a new plant was built in Valtice where the company headquarters and the main production program were transferred. The company owns production halls, projection center as well as R&D. The Mauting company equipment is known and operated in more than 80 countries of the world in all continents. At present the export amounts 80 - 85 % of annual output.
