Turkish Hazelnut and Hazelnut Products Exporters' Associations represent the companies that export hazelnuts, hazelnut paste, hazelnut flour, hazelnut oil, processed hazelnut, and so on. Besides being the biggest hazelnut producer in the world, our country is also the biggest hazelnut exporting country. Turkey as one of the few countries in the world with suitable air and solid conditions for hazelnut growing produces 75% of the world's production and exports almost 70-75 % of total exports. Our hazelnut export is mainly aimed at the European Union countries and the share of these countries increases in parallel with the increase in our exports. The share of the EU countries in our total exports is about 80-85%, though it changes over the years. As for our hazelnut export to other countries, we have been exporting hazelnuts to about 90 countries.
