Starting with the first vacuum belt dryer from Sulzer in 1955, passing a row of companies, including Zschokke, Wartmann, ZWAG, Meprotec (Schneider), Zedrys, Terotech (Teropam) and Ecken. Since 2021, Merk Process GmbH founded in 1994 joined and became the hub for drying technology within Bucher Unipektin AG. Today, Bucher Merk designs, engineers, manufactures and commissions state-of-the-art drying systems worldwide. At our Competence Centre for Drying Technology in Laufenburg, we develop drying processes and innovative technologies for our clients. Our team of engineers supports improvements or retrofits for optimum performance of existing equipment. Our customers include leading global corporations and medium-sized companies in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
