Simple syrup, or white syrup, has applications in both the food and beverage industries. In fact, the sugar solution is one of the main ingredients in the production of various types of beverages, including carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, energy drinks, iced tea, malt drinks and pre-mixed cocktails.
Sugar dissolution is one of the first steps in the preparation of beverages and can be carried out by means of a batch system or a continuous system depending on the product to be prepared and its sugar concentration.
Both PRISMATECH’s Batch Dissolver and Continuous Dissolver are suitable for both hot and cold dissolution and can achieve sugar solution concentrations of up to 82°Bx, usually used in candy and sweets production.
