MMH - Multilane Horizontal Flow Wrapper
The OTEM Multilane Flow Wrapper for bars and tablets is a special machine with only one frame / structure many wrapping lanes, from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 13, each one totally independent with 4 dedicated servomotors for lug chain, sealing rollers, sealing jaws and automatic reel splicer.
The number of wrapping lanes is the same of the number of products per row, coming form the main line. To feed the single products to the OTEM multilane flow wrapper we have at the beginning of the line a series of diverter belt conveyors, to “open” the pitch of the products from the main line to the pitch of the machine (160 mm).
The diverter belt conveyors are equipped with a pull nose system at the end to reject the products in case of machine stop; a 90° crossing belt conveyor under the frame is predisposed to handle the rejected produts out of the machine area into a basket.
A rows aligner can be predisposed at the beginning of the line to align and create a fixed pitch of the coming rows in case of a not very constant production.
