Machine for ice cream mix
Machine for ice cream mix Ice cream is a frozen dessert and distinct between ice cream made from milk or cream and sorbet made from fruit juice and syrup. The mixture is stirred during freezing to prevent large ice crystals from forming. Short history about ice cream mix The history of ice cream is relatively unknown. However, the world’s oldest ice cream is stated to be the dish that an emperor of the Tang Dynasty in China was served in the 6th century, consisting of mixed flour, milk and camphor, cooked using ice. In 825 not long after the 6th century, the child emperor Jing Zong received a chilled dish of milk, ice and camphor. Hereafter, the story says that Emperor Nero was served snow from the mountains with fresh fruit – what we possibly today would call sorbet. The modern ice cream was invented in Italy, possibly inspired by recipes that Marco Polo brought home from China. Some sources attribute its spread in the 16thcentury to Caterina di medici and her chef Ruggeri, whom she brought to France when she married. The cold and delicious dish hereafter started to take its hold on parts of the world. However, before Carl von Linde invented the freezer in 1870, ice cream was a luxury product as frozen water had to be cut out of lakes in the winter and stored to keep the ice from melting.
