Maximum efficiency thanks to a seamless packaging process with no need for re-sorting   The BLM system is an efficient solution that enables Theegarten-Pactec’s customers to combine their packaging operations in a single seamless process. The BLM uses the same operating concept as the primary packaging machines from Theegarten-Pactec, which ensures optimum communication and control between the different packaging lines and significantly reduces problems, such as product jams, at the interfaces between them. Thanks to its modular design, the BLM can also process different product sizes, carton dimensions and product configurations at a range of different speeds. It is designed for packing products such as chocolate bars in folded wrappers or flow packs, chewing gum in folded wrappers, compressed stock cubes and non-food items such as stacks of dishwasher tabs. The products are always packed in the cartons at the same high speed as they are dispensed from the primary packaging machine. The secret? The BLM is connected to the upstream machine by a direct feed, which eliminates the time-consuming step of re-sorting the products.   Compact design keeps operation simple and saves time Thanks to its compact design, the BLM helps reduce the number of additional packaging lines and interfaces and requires a much smaller footprint compared to conventional toploaders. The low height also ensures operators have an optimal overview of the entire packaging line. Similarly, the BLM system is operated entirely from the front, which saves time because operators have shorter walking distances to cover, and the machine is easily accessible for operation, maintenance and cleaning. Theegarten-Pactec also supplies a mirrored version of the BLM system, so that customers can select their model to match the operator position for the connected primary packaging machine. Finally, a transparent machine cover makes it easy to perform additional visual checks.
