Deaeration plants can be used for the production of different products. In CSD and sparkling water production, process water is deaerated to enhance the final carbonation quality. In juice production, deaeration is needed in order to better preserve the final product organoleptic properties and to increase its shelf life. Deaeration plants can be single or double stage, depending on the final oxygen content required, and can be provided with aroma recovery systems for juices. Deaerated water can be utilized for other purposes such as flushing of lines, filter pre-coating etc.
