Cooling Systems
For many applications, the thermal properties of a steel belt are key. These include the ability to conduct heat quickly and efficiently, and to maintain strength and flexibility in temperatures as extreme as minus 80°C all the way up to +750°C.Â
 Â
Cooling and freezing are other applications for which steel belts are ideally suited. Products commonly processed on steel belt coolers and freezers include seafood, vegetables, instant coffee, confectionery and chocolate pastilles.
Â
Steel belts are highly resistant to damage by corrosion, abrasion and impact and are therefore an ideal long-term solution for potentially aggressive applications such as sugar conveying or meat boning plants.
