CIP: CLEAN-IN-PLACE SYSTEM
Hygiene is such an essential factor during food and beverage processing to continuously ensure a high-quality end product that meets the required standards. Prismatech provides different types of CIP systems: - automatic CIP unit - semi-automatic CIP unit - mobile CIP unit (wheeled CIP) For the automatic CIP there is no need for any operator-controlled processes. The controls of every phase of the clean in place process, the timing, and the disinfectant concentrations of the washing cycles as well, are easily managed from a PLC and a graphic HMI operator panel with the possibility to record up to 99 recipes. The access to the settings is restricted by log-in information and password. For the semi-automatic CIP system an operator is required to open and close some manual valves while guaranteeing a complete sanitization of the machinery. The CIP Cart (wheeled CIP) can be both automatic and semi-automatic. This represents the best solution when thinking about small facilities that do not require a high level of automation and in case of space constraints. Consisting of 1, 2, 3 or more sections, with one or more washing delivery lines for single or simultaneous cleaning, Prismatech CIP plants are designed and built to meet customer's needs. CIP systems can clean both process equipment and filling lines with water, soda, acid, and disinfectant, according to international sanitisation guidelines. Prismatech CIP systems heat either with steam or electric heating elements and are designed for high energy and hydraulic efficiency. Like all Prismatech machines, the CIP systems are made entirely of stainless steel and are suitable to be used in the food and chemical industries.
