BIOPAP LC® Line of biodegradable, recyclable and compostable food trays is environmental friendly thus allowing a high resistance to humidity and fat. Specially designed for all applications in catering BIOPAP® LC is issued from sustainable, non-food raw materials. Its supply chain is totally European context: PEFC certified. BIOPAP® trays are a hygienic solution for preparing, cooking, baking, deep-freezing, transporting, conserving, re-heating and consuming food. Our different shapes and sizes cover the range of requirements of the sector. They can also be printed outside so to bring brand and quality image of the content up to the consumer’s table.BIOPAP® LC trays can be used in cryogenic tunnels (-70°C), refrigerator blasting and cold room storage, as well as in microwave and in traditional oven up to 185°C for 60 minutes for cooking or re-heating food. Trays are shatterproof and can be sealed with cardboard lids (type TS) or film by means of manual or automatic thermo-sealer machines. They can also be closed with hard manual lids.BIOPAP® LC trays are approved by the most important catering chains for Warm Delivery, Cook & Chill and Cook & Freeze as well as in air and rail catering. BIOPAP® LC trays and hard lids type MT, CT and SL are biodegradable, recyclable and compostable according to UNI EN 13432:2002 – CIC certified. Thermo-sealable and compostable films are also available. They are OK Compost Home - TUV Austria certified, which guarantees composting in the home composter as well. BIOPAP® trays have also V-Label Vegetarian Licence, BPI certification and they are USDA Certified Biobased product.
