Automatic Tray's Downloader (Artisanal Pasta)
Modern "artisan" pasta factories that use trays handle on average 1000 - 2000 trays per day for packaging operations. The trays loaded with dough must be taken from trolleys, emptied into an hopper and then stacked again on the trolleys. These operations causing considerable mechanical stress on the trays and rapid wear then possible sources of product contamination due to the numerous manual manipulations and possible contact with the operators' hands. Furthermore, the effort that operators have to bear due to repeated bending and lifting loads of 5/6 kg per trays should not be overlooked; moreover, fatigue, linked to continuous effort during the day, drastically reduces emptying performance and speed, consequently penalizing packaging rate. Thanks to the "TALOS" system, these operations can be carried out faster, safe, avoiding the need for additional personnel, greatly reducing the workload for the personnel employed, avoiding product losses and optimizing packaging. The operation of the machine is simple and doesn't require any specific training for the personnel in charge: a trays trolley, loaded with pasta, is placed in the infeed station, an empty trolley is placed in the outfeed station; the emptying cycle starts automatically: a full tray is pushed into the unloading area, where the rotation of the tray completely unloads the product into a collection hopper which feed a reversible conveyor belt. The emptied tray is subsequently brought back to a horizontal position and sent to the stacking station where it is deposited on the empty trolley. With the use of the "TALOS" system, the same operator in charge of packaging can take care of inserting the trolleys full of pasta into the TALOS, thus reducing the use of personnel dedicated to emptying the trays.
