The solubility in methanol and ethanol are 3.72% and 0.26%, respectively. Easily hydrolyzed in aqueous solution. It can be decomposed into monomeric amino acids under acidic conditions, and can be cyclized to diketopiperazine when it is neutral or alkaline. The temperature rises and the reaction speed increases. The PH value of 0.8% solution is about 4.5~6.0.
