Ultrasonic cutting with Döinghaus cutting and more
How the machines work: The product to be cut is inserted into the machine manually or via a conveyor belt. A safety light grid on the front or protective hoods protect the operator and switch off the machine immediately when activated. The desired cutting pattern is entered via an easy-to-use touch panel without the need for additional programming. Accidentally changing recipes once entered is prevented by entering a password. Saved recipes can be reloaded by simply selecting the recipe number. Since the different cutting patterns are cut with an ultrasonic cutting knife or a combination of knives, there is no need for a complex changeover process. Due to the cutting technology used, the knife must not be sharpened and has a significantly longer service life than conventional knives. The high-quality cut takes place quietly. After the cutting cycle has ended, the knife returns to the starting position and the product can be removed. A cleaning station allows the knife to be cleaned periodically and automatically. The ultrasonic knife is cleaned with fresh water, any remaining water on the knife is blown off using compressed air. The dirty water is removed via a drain. This ensures hygienic cleaning of the ultrasonic knife. Most of the machines can also equipped with a disinfection box in combination with the cleaning station to sterilize the surface of the knives with ultraviolet light. The entire machine design is optimized with regard to the EHEDG guidelines and can be cleaned within a few minutes. Complex assembly work to clean the machine is not necessary. A transparent cladding on the system enables visual inspection of the cutting process during ongoing production. If there are malfunctions or incorrect operation, these are displayed to the machine operator as text in the control panel and can therefore be quickly located.
