Through strawberry cake with ultrasonic
"Döinghaus cutting and more" in Germany are guarantees for a clean cut.
They ensure that the piece of cake on the plate and the sheet cake in the displays of bakeries and pastry shops are served precisely cut and presented appetizingly. They rely entirely on ultrasonic.
The Salzkotten company "Döinghaus cutting and more" specializes in building machines and systems that guide the knife for employees in the food industry, as well as in smaller pastry shops. The blades glide through lemon cakes, strawberry layers, and more as if through warm butter, and they are not even sharp.
There are about ten different machines and systems in their portfolio. They carry names like Filou, Nado, or Sandwichboy. The machines also shape pizzas, sandwiches, cheese, and pet food into the desired form. "We can adapt very individually to customer requests, as no cake is like another," explains Erik Döinghaus.
The machines can be programmed for the different consistencies of the products to be cut, as well as for the desired size and shape of the pieces. "They are practically tuned like a guitar," says Döinghaus. Whether soft, creamy, sticky, frozen, or multilayered – in the end, there is always a clean edge. "Businesses save a lot of time, and the staff can focus on what matters," explains Holger Witkowski about the advantages. In just about 90 seconds, Filou can cut two trays of cake.
The list of reference companies that already use ultrasonic cutting machines from Döinghaus is long. Trade partners exist not only in Germany and Europe but also in Australia, India, and the USA.
"We are very well positioned internationally," says Erik Döinghaus. Each year, 60 to 70 cutting machines "made in Salzkotten" leave the company. The automation of cutting work has also made its way into domestic large bakeries.
