Landmark
Landmark Group, a prominent retail and ecommerce conglomerate in the GCC, has formed a strategic partnership with Addverb, a global leader in robotics and automation solutions, to modernise its fulfilment centre in Kuwait. Known for its innovation and consumer-centric approach, Landmark Group operates across MENA, India, and Southeast Asia, consistently leading the market with cutting-edge strategies.
The partnership integrates Addverb's advanced automation technologies into the Kuwait fulfilment centre, aimed at boosting operational efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction. Addverb's Zippy, a robotic sorter capable of processing up to 1,000 sorts per hour, is at the core of this system. Quadron, Addverb's high-performance carton shuttle system, also plays a crucial role, with a throughput of up to 100 crates per hour. Together, these systems streamline the fulfilment process, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
The automation system is designed to categorise items into bulky and non-bulky categories, with non-bulky items transported via an automated conveyor to the Zippy system for sorting. Bulky and non-bulky items are then integrated at pack stations, ensuring an efficient and seamless order fulfilment process.
Creating an adaptive and agile supply chain is part of our supply chain vision. We are happy to collaborate with Addverb to elevate our Kuwait fulfilment centre operations," said Pawan Kaura, Head Ecommerce Operations, Landmark Group. "The integration of warehouse automation not only enhances our operational efficiency but also ensures that our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. This investment in automation aligns with our commitment to delivering unparalleled service and experiences
