PASTEURISER
Pasteurisation is a vital process and it is required for some specific product such as juices, milk, sauces and syrups since it eliminates microorganisms and improve safety, freshness and shelf-life. There are different types of pasteurisation and heat treatment, for example: • Tubular pasteuriser • Plate Pasteuriser • Free Flow Pasteuriser • Flash Pasteuriser • Steriliser and UHT treatment • HTST ("High Temperature Short Time") • LTLT ("Low Temperature Long Time") • Pasteuriser with deaerator • Pasteurisation with homogeniser Prismatech pasteurisers provides a gentle delicate treatment of the product in order to preserve its characteristics. This is why, direct steam is never used for heating or pasteurisation: pasteurisation is done with hot water which is heated with a steam. Prismatech pasteurisation plants are suitable for either 'hot fill' or 'cold fill' applications. There are mainly two categories of pasteurisers depending on the type of product, whether the liquid to be processed is clear without pieces or viscous/with filaments. Plate pasteuriser The plate pasteuriser is used for pasteurisation of clear fruit juices, pasteurisation of syrup, and pasteurisation of finished beverages, e.g. tea. For liquids that have microparticles, it is possible to opt for the 'free flow' version of the wide-pass pasteuriser. Tubular pasteuriser The tubular pasteuriser is used for pasteurisation of fruit juices with chunks or filaments, pasteurisation of purees, and pasteurisation of sauces, condiments and thick or viscous products. As part of its ongoing investment in research and development in beverage plants, Prismatech provides pasteurisation machinery featuring power-saving characteristics that enable up to 80 per cent recovery. The automatic pasteuriser is managed by a control panel complete with PLC and HMI touchscreen to fasten and simplifies user experience.
