The Twin Screw Extruder is designed to separate the barrels from the screw element via a hydarulic piston and table assembly which are on rairs. This will allow push button operation to access the elements for cleaning and maintenance. Hydraulic system is integrated into the frame section. The barrels are plumbed for liquid cooling and are fitted with electric heat bands for temperature control. Two barrels have plate ports for adding additional dry or liquid ingredients. There are two barrels which have ports for liquid injection for color, flavors, oils and sweeteners, etc.
